Cultural Events & Activities

By way of a variety of activities, the Hellenic Heritage Museum of Maryland, Incorporated raises funds with stimulating programs that further the appreciation of our Hellenic heritage. Our intention is to preserve and share the experiences and rich legacies that we have inherited from our Hellenic forefathers, with everyone.

Cultural Events & Activities

We raise funds in a variety of ways. We have a giving program, whereby people may donate. We offer convenient and interesting field trips to many museums, from Virginia to New York City and beyond. Especially popular are the touring block- buster exhibitions that further enrich people’s knowledge, pertinent to our rich history.

Book Club

The Hellenic Heritage Museum of Maryland’s Book Club meets on the second Sunday of every month. Open to men and women, the discussions center on fiction and nonfiction writings in English on a variety of Greek topics including history, travel and culture.

Oral Histories

The Hellenic Heritage Museum of Maryland is committed to interviewing individuals who have had first- and second-generation experience in creating a new life in the Maryland community. We maintain a comprehensive audio and video archive of the interviews.

Mrs. Mary Kiladis

An active member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Baltimore, Mary initiated the “Around the Town” feature of the Annunciation Herald, a monthly newsletter that highlighted community events and human interest stories for decades. She also served as one of the founding members of the Hellenic Heritage Museum of Maryland.
